After an exciting break through 2022 and a momentous 2023, we are excited to announce the further availability of future booking dates for Twin Cities hip hop act J Dynamic (Jeremiah Morland)! With a focus on festivals and direct support gigs, 2024 is already shaping up to be one to remember for J and his newly reformed live band! With an extensive local collab list already taking form, strong streaming numbers, and new upcoming content, the future is truly limitless for this Minneapolis based MC.
Dynamic’s new live show is really where this group shows their true energy. Most recently Co-Headlining Hotel Minnesnowta 2024 and performing with international touring artist and Guitarist of The Big Wu, Mark Joseph. In late 2023, J Dynamic opened for Chiddy Bang hosted by Mr. Peter Parker and DJ D-Mil who previously had him open for Hip-Hop legend Paul Wall. Additional headlining gigs included but were not limited to: Minnesota state fair, Minneapolis miniFEST, Hip Hop for Autism, Smile Fest, Smokeout fest, and A Benefit for Justin Sutherland.
2024 will mark the further elaboration of the sound of J Dynamic. As always, J is joined on stage with fellow MC and collaborator Toby Swisher. On the drum kit and keeping the rhythm in the back is fashion designer, MC and multi-talented instrumentalist Mike “NRG Mike” Byers. Switching off between bass and guitar is trained instrumentalist Noah Klemp. On the keys is infinitely talented multi instrumentalist Erik Christianson And lastly, joining most recently is DJ Aaron “Big Poppa” Bjorkstrand whose hype energy and mixing is an entire show itself!
The numbers speak for themselves. Hundreds of thousands of streams alone in 2023. An average of 50-75,000 streams monthly. Past singles and videos via Youtube have included “Bahamas,” “Higher” and “NRG Fit.” J anticipates a few new singles to drop in Q2 ‘24 including one with collaborator and Minnesota Hip Hop phenom Nur-D!
